Right
at the top end of Australia is some of the best flats and mangrove
systems you are ever likely to encounter.
Cape York is one of the last frontiers with crystal clear waters,
snag filled estuaries and hundreds of sandy flats.
This is wild country, which hasnt bore the brunt of civilisation
. Fishing the east coast's Jacky Jacky, Middle & Escape Rivers
and west coasts Jardine River and southern creeks and beaches,
these remote waters are evidence to what fishing should be like
without commercial and recreational pressures.
Fishing
here is as good as it gets, with nearly every tropical species
available on both east and west coasts by either fly or lure fishing
methods. From the base at Loyalty Beach Lodge, each coast can
be fished within half an our of each other by road giving you
more options and safeguarding against bad weather and shut down
conditions.

The
top end is home to some of the biggest populations of pelagic
species in Australia such as queenfish, trevally ( various species),
tuna (longtail, mac), mackeral (spanish, broad barred).
These
waters offer some of the best action to be found in the country,
with schools of queenfish and tuna so thick some days hooking
up is just a matter of hanging a line over the side, making for
easy targets whether fly or lure fishing.

The
vast estuaries on both coasts are capable of providing mind-blowing
action on barra, fingermark, salmon (blue, threadfin), mangrove
jack etc
with endless options to explore.
Along the foreshores and river mouths, there is excellent sight-fishing
to be had for permit, giant herring, various trevally species,
queenfish, salmon, tarpon etc... with wading and beach walking
also an option.
All tours here are fully guided and conducted personally by Rob

of these waters always guaranteeing the best results under the
available conditions. Tours are conducted from April December
with our days running from 6am 5.30pm to give you the most
